Dr. Andrew Dickson is a professor of marine chemistry in the Marine Physical Laboratory Division at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego. Playing a key role in providing quality control for oceanic carbon dioxide measurements, he is an expert in the chemistry of carbon dioxide in seawater, with an emphasis on ocean acidification and its effects on marine organisms. Dr. Dickson received his B.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Liverpool.
