Dr. Waldo Wakefield is Research Fisheries Biologist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Fisheries Northwest Fisheries Science Center. He also holds a Courtesy Associate Professor faculty position at Oregon State University in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences. Dr. Wakefield’s expertise is in fish ecology, biological oceanography, seafloor habitat characterization, conservation engineering and fisheries science. He received his Ph.D. in Oceanography from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California, San Diego.
